So im about to pull the trigger on an 05 S2R 800, its in great condition, but the only down fall for me is its yellow :'(  I have been searching all the Monster parts sites and I can only seem to find front fenders, rear seat cowels but nothing tank related. Do I have to replace the whole tank? Or is there just a plastic cover over the tank? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

p.s. Im looking to swap everything over to "Dark" or "Gloss Black". I would consider doing the CF front fender.

Paint it?  pm ducpainter. No FHE, but from reviews about his work by other people on the forum he does an amazing job.

Also, if you want to go a DIY route, there is a thread in the how to section.

No Plastic cover on that bike.

Where in MN?  I have never had anything painted on my bike, or other vehicles for that matter, so I don't have any experience with anyone local.  Stop by our local section and ask there, (the link below) I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.  Welcome to the board  and good luck on your purchase.
