Hay peps, just got my vdsts stuff in the mail, and am figuring out how to use it. I have a question for those who have used it before. I was checking my throttle pos. and at rest I am reading 2.9 percent, i know that this is normal from my shop manual, but at full throttle I'm only showing 74.4 percent. I'm gona guess this ain't right. question is how do I reset the max?? There is a function in the VDSTS software to do this but I'm concerned about the warning that pops up. what dangers are there, or is this even somthing that needs to be addressed??

Thanks in advance. d

the throttle opening is shown in degrees, not %.  maximum should be around 84 degrees.  the only reset procedure is for idle (closed) throttle, there's no full throttle reset procedure.

have you connected using the correct ecu or model?

yes, it auto detected the ecu. sorry 'bout the % degs thing, I know better but was thinking about something else.
thanks,

Well now back to the original problem of not starting. When I pulled my codes it shows that the crank sensor is not working. Any ideas on how to check function??
