I do my best sleeping on the couch with the TV going...sometimes the TV dialogue merges into my dream space and the characters in my dreams are saying the things coming out of the  TV

My charming sleep cycle is: dead-out by 8 pm....wide awake at 12 midnight or 1 am...../get on the computer for 2 or 3 hours....pass out again on the couch.....up again around 5:30-6 am

no sleep paralysis lately thank God

but the second round of sleep between 3 and 5 am  I get REM.... and I usually get make the beast with two backsing nightmares that would make Steven King envious and would inspire him to write another hundred books

all the evil shit of my childhood and worse comes to life and wakes up when my brain is asleep and unguarded

I hope hell isn't as bad as these nightmares...or that this is a preview of my hereafter for eternity<laughing>

It does suck....sometimes I'll carry a "dream-hangover" with me halfway through the day before it recedes...

residual shadow feelings of dread, terror, horror, sorrow...ugh....all the fun things you feel at the dark end of the human living experience

can't turn my back on my own brain for a second....

If you have ever felt something in life....I guess your brain can serve it up for you to re-live it....
