Most people quit more than once.  Do try again.  Moving to NYC may help, around $11 a pack is an incentive :P
I'll pass on the NYC thing...talk about a fish out of water. [laugh]

I have stopped smoking again though. 2 1/2 weeks. T stopped also.

We figure we'll save about $7K/year at NH prices.

7 grand a year?!?!  Damn!

That's some serious coin.

Good luck to both of you!

8 days no smoke.  I'm less likely to kill someone now.  That first three days sucked royal ass.

My favorite is getting high just from inhaling. I quit the first time several years ago and still remember being higher than a kite after a few deep inhalations of clear air after my lungs had a chance to purge themselves of some crap.

Quit again a few months ago... Sadly the high wasn't nearly as memorable this time  [laugh]

I quit a couple months ago as well. I had a cold that turned to bronchitis
I figured it was as good a time as any to quit. Don't miss it anymore.

I quit smoking for a few months but really missed the cough-and-swallow instant breakfast in the mornings......

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

It can take a bit of time.
Also you may not be exercising them enough. Many doctors believe that your heart and lungs can rehab to almost 100% post quitting... With help. Theres some breathing exercises that I've done in the past to help and I got into the habit of getting off the elevator a few floors early at one of the sites I'm at regularly. Climbing 6 flights of stairs energetically gets the lungs moving :)

I'm proud to say its one year today smoke free.  ;D

Gonna celebrate with some  [drink]
