Here in Jackson, New Hampshire getting ready for the hill climb tomorrow. I drove up from Boston and watched the clouds get closer as the altitude got higher. I got to the registration tent at the foot of the mountain just as the sun was setting and I got to see the summit off in the distance. Holy crap what have I gotten myself into! The good news is that the weather is supposed to be perfect. Sunny and only 25mph winds. Considering that the winds are usually around 40mph, 25mph is a blessing.  [thumbsup]  Start time is at 8:45 tomorrow. Wish me luck.

She has a Lotus Elise?
Right!...more like a Toyota spider.  It's a tiny little car.  I can't see out the windows, everyone can look straight down at me and I feel like I am too tall for this car.  It runs like a go-cart too.  You have to rev it pretty good to get it to go.  Very different from my F350 dually.

Ronr

yeah I guess it wouldn't compare to your 350!  Don't they use those to pull the Space Shuttle to the pad?

I think they actually use two for that.

I thought the Mt. Washington Hillclimb was in like July or something? You realize that the boast is that Mt. Mashington has the worst weather in the world! They recorded a wind speed of somthing like 250mph in the 1930s... or so the rumor goes. Hey, how did you do? I could have loaned you the granny gears off my mountain bike if I had known. [laugh] They would have to time me with a freaking calender even in my good days! That's why I like an internal combustion engine between my wheels now days. [moto]
