Just got back from a 'make-up' ride for yesterday's missed ride.  Found a new road "for us"; FM 902 from Preston to Collinsville (377).

Cut our travels a bit short; it is just warm and steamy out there.

Yep, it was a scorcher yesterday! Had to put in a couple of extra stops for water, Gatorade and shade! Made sure I had about three coats of sunblock on the back of my neck. God bless mesh riding jackets. Where have those been my whole riding life! Finally got a couple of the loose fitting (non compression) type Under Armor t-shirts. That made a huge difference too. 100 times better than a soaked cotton t-shirt under your jacket.
