Seriously though.  I have a stock seat and if I ride for a very long time my ass hurts.  I'm planning on getting the DP touring seat and I don't know if that will fix it or what.  Maybe I just have a boney rear.

Yeah, I've seen them go for around 170 or so here and on ebay.  I just dropped 300 on a leather jacket and that kind of took priority over the seat since I didn't have one yet.  But the seat is the next must have.

yeah I only made it about an hour and I was sore, had another 2 hrs to go.  My MV I can ride for hours on end no comfort problems.

+1, too, on the comment about how hot they get. Though I have found that the nut-boiling is less of an issue if I wear clothing while riding.

i modded my seat for $60. best thing ever casue you can make it fit however you damn please.
