LIGHT NORTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE WEDNESDAY AS SCATTERED SHOWERS
ARE FOUND OVER THE SMALLER ISLANDS. DEEPENING LAYERED CLOUDS OVER
THE BIG ISLAND WILL SPREAD TO THE NORTH...BRINGING SHOWERS TO THE
BIG ISLAND AND MAUI TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...WITH BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS EXPECTED AT THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS. TRADE WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO RETURN LATE THIS WEEK.

I don't mind so much about which way the wind blows, or doesn't blow, only if it's wet, or not.  This is a bit better, newer forecast but they are a tad circumspect about rainfall. Might be good though.......

THE HIGH NORTHWEST OF THE STATE WILL BUILD EASTWARD OVER THE WEEKEND
AND WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO RETURN TO A MORE TYPICAL TRADE WIND
DIRECTION ACROSS LOCAL WATERS. MODELS SHOW A DRIER WEATHER PATTERN
FROM LATE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. HOWEVER...THIS TRADE PATTERN MAY BE
SHORT LIVED AS A SERIES OF SYSTEMS TRACKING ACROSS THE NORTH PACIFIC
MAY SHIFT THE RIDGE SOUTHWARD OVER THE ISLANDS BY EARLY NEXT
WEEK...INTRODUCING A PERIOD OF LIGHTER AND POSSIBLY VARIABLE WINDS.
GFS SHOWS A FRONT APPROACHING THE ISLANDS FROM THE NORTHWEST BY LATE
NEXT WEEK.

RE....speed, I think I am going to maybe use Likelike instead of H3 for my commute.  I don't have the discipline to not twist the throttle.
I got in behind a Marine on a GSXR on my way in today....we got to 112 before I knew it!
I really don't need to deal with the legal consequences & costs!!
