I would be up for it.  God knows neither of my bikes have seen any decent use (sorry Tristan) for a few weeks.

I didn't even consider that a ride... it was a transport.  And in the rain, no less!

'K den -- I'll be up way early getting chores out of the way. Will post up or call. Let's see how the weather does.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

How early is way early?  I think I need to take the Duc out; the rear spring seems to need a turn or two applied to it on the Daytona...

8:30 or so --- It's 0615 and I'm out the door for coffee/laundry/groceries. Dark outside, scattered stars & wet clouds above now. One horrific rain for a while last night.

Verdict?  It's clearing up here and the radar looks promising...

Just got back home 0815. I have to go to shop to pick up gixxer. Can meet down there or up by Kaiser on Red Hill Moanaloa at 0915ish. Post up or I'll call. It'll take me about 20 mins to get out of the house I reckon.

I can meet you down at the shop if you want.  I need to get just a few things done here as well, but 0915-0930 should work.  Meet you at the shop then?

That Pipeline Porter at the end of the ride yesterday was yummy!  [beer] [drink] [beer] That's one reason why I was opting for the beer at the end of the ride rather than stop by Lakeside.  [laugh]  OK, 1st service tomorrow then pipes.

Yes it was.  Glad we did that after threading through KoleKole pass.  ;)

So Rick, which bike are you bringing out tomorrow morning?  ;)

Want to meet up at 0800, or try the 0830 crew again?

eltristo

is the forecast looking and brighter than today?

not that it matters, i'm busy in the morning.  but, you know, just curious.

Everything I have seen so far, including the all-knowing magic eight ball, says yes.

I'll be using the 750 tomorrow. I wouldn't mind taking the Monster out but since it rained most of today the 750 just got put back together, cleaned up and needs a test ride. I'll need to find out how the new setup works in real life not just sitting in one spot. Looks like it'll be around 9 AM again. I'll try to get up and moving early but there is still standard Sunday morning chores to deal with. Hoping for some dry roads. I'll be in touch in the morning.

BTW --- I had a look at the 848 owner's manual. 1st service is at 600 miles. Next service is at 7,500 with valve check/adjustment and I reckon an owner would be smart to change oil somewhere in between. If you see your buddy Rick with the 848 you should check with him on that.
