I believe it is the people and the demographics, as has been said everyone is a little older, or perhaps just a little wiser and loves the brand. I belong to another forum which is the DUCwc.ca and the attitudes are very similar (if a much smaller site) Simply a bunch of people with many difffent lifestyles who share a specific love of Ducati.
And yet people are still accepting of other bikes on this site ie: triumphs and others. There is no flaming, no "whots that POS doing on here" type of attitude such as can be found on other sites. And most people are generally serious about wanting to help, whether it's making a noob comfortable or information about bikes.
It must be a Ducati thing.
