just wondering how many would be up for a short trip to hillsboro sept 21. i am going down there with some japenese bike riders i know. we r taking 157s to 916w to 81s to 934w to 309s to 22e . they were gonna blacktop it but i had to tell them that's not how spaghetti shooters do it. i can give you more info on the route road conditions on monday if anyone might be interested in a short ride, some lunch and come back.

sorry i am going with those guys this sunday. they wouldn't be coming with us.

cant!!  :-[    gotta go to virginia with the rest of my vacation and see the in-laws. but at least i get to go finish my tour of d.c. my wife usually drops me off at the smithsonian and then comes back that evening after she visits her aunt and cousins. oh and the topper is "NO! we are not towing your bike because you wouldn't visit with anybody you'd be ridin' all day everyday. weather permitting."  [bang]

their bikes are japenese sport bikes. 2 kawasaki's, 1 r6, 3 suzuki's and a cbr 600. i just got home from a little run down their with a friend and the roads are good. the only bad spot was just as you get on 309 the first two corners were rough but road wise that was it. plus you get 916 which is a great section.

just got back from my ride. coming back though i found out what really makes us and the sportbike a world apart. they wanted to blacktop the entire way i did for awhile but i had to jump off and come on home the back way. doing 150 down the freeway isn't my idea of a fun ride.
meet a gentleman named mike at 157 and 67 today. he was on a chromed out monster. nice lookking bike. nice guy. i told hime how to find us hopefully he will make his way over here.
back on point if anyone maybe interested in this just post and get you some more info as the day approaches.

916, winner of the Best Name For A Road award!! [thumbsup]

Ron,

Do you have the 900 already up and running? Do you have the forks on and the tank POR-15'd? If you do that was fast! [moto]

if you remember when we went to hico the road that was real smooth with the blind corners going to that you, bryant and i came back on is 916. i love to go ride that road i almost have the darn thing memorized. that little section betwwen maypearl and grandview is so much fun to ride.
