I know how to properly cook eggs, and none of those are even close. [puke]

Like this:
Put your eggs in a pot and cover with COLD water.
Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and stir to dissolve.
Bring to a boil on high heat.
As soon as it boils, turn off the heat and cover with a lid.
Let sit covered for exactly 10 minutes.
Peel
Shove in face hole
Scrambled, and well done. All the rest are [puke]. IMO. ;D

That's possibly the nastiest way to ruin a good egg. [puke]

You forgot one, yet vital step. Eggs should be left out overnight to bring them to room temperature before you cook them. That goes for all variations.

Hard for me to discern room temp, with all the ice water in my veins. :-*
Just sit on it

Why? Both US and Canadian health guidelines say no more than two hours at room temp to avoid nasty bacteria. I gather it's not an issue in Europe, though...

Eggs are fine for a few days. If you cook them cold, like steaks, they don't come out as good.

I'd love to discuss the reasons why US and Canadian eggs can't be left at room temp...
except we'd have to ban ourselves. ;D
PM me. ;)
It's simple. If you leave them out, a fox will sneak in your kitchen and eat em. Then he'll get into the Ben&Jerrys, get all jacked up on sugar and make a mess out of the kitchen.

That only applies if your eggs come from the store, right? (city boy here...)
Cooking eggs?? A raw egg in your first beer of the morning is the start of any manly day. Good for your hangover too. [beer]

You're correct.

Why am I not surprised by your answer?
Because you already knew? ;D
The stores here in Panama don't refrigerate their eggs and I don't at home.
