Well, the .50 cal are the most obvious thing since your normal person can't operate a tank. The tanks were probably abandoned since the Abrams uses jet fuel. I would prefer something like Veloce posted a big ass pick-up or even a 18 wheeler. I see the need for the RV for cooking and sleeping. Consider it more a mobile hospital. I truly don't understand the jeep. Too easily dragged out of. Living on a boat is the best idea, but you would need to eventually hit land for some basics.

Most folks couldn't run a Ma Deuce either, much less set the headspace and timing on it.  ;)

i got to fire one, but spent more time on the remaining m1919s that we had on the apc.  "more time" means about 2 days before i got to go back to nitpicking, which was far more satisfying.

no, it's not.  i think they are trying to make it a step above a regular "zombie" flick.  i mean, no one ever says "zombie" in "dawn of the dead" either.

I don't want to watch a show about rednecks siphoning gas.  I saw enough of that growing up.

Watched all of season 1 yesterday and liked it a lot!  Now to find season 2 online

And start hording shotgun shells :D

You know all too well of my zombie fetish... if that's the right term. [laugh] A huge smile hit my face last night when I clicked on my Directv DVR show list and saw 9 recorded Walking Dead shows. It was a toss up between 2011 races recorded on SPEED or Walking Dead re-run shows. I told my wife to go to bed, I was staying up to watch zombie shit! [laugh]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Read World War Z. By the end of that book everyone's carrying either dead simple rifles capable of firing until you can't fire no more (for taking out Zombie hordes) or sound suppressed .22 handguns (so you don't attract more zombies)
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
