I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Typical Ridley Scott Film, I walked out of the Theater after the Movie Perplexed, a little disturbed by some of the Imagery, but very happy I had seen it, I didn't like it straight away, I often find with Ridley's films they take a few days of bouncing around in my head before I decide if I love a film and if I want to see it again. And It has taken a few days to absorb it all and figure out what the movie was trying to say, but overall I loved it, if it wasn't over an hour away to my nearest decent Cinema I would see it again (and that is saying something! I hate Cinemas, noisy Kids, people on phones, people chatting)

I loved the Storyline, I would love to see a sequel. I will be ordering the Bluray ASAP!  [thumbsup]

It seems like the guy in beginning who offed himself was not on earth..  also seemed like the alain in the pilot seat in Alien was at least double the size of these guys..  maybe from one of the other ships..  hope they make another lube with her fleeing to the "home planet"..  overall I liked it but was hoping for more..

Trailers made the movie seem so cool but after seeing it, I don't like it. I feel like the ending was trying to hard to be epic and failed. It left to many unanswered questions for me a lot of cool looking stuff in the trailer and didn't deliver on the story side= [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] from me.

Though I don't think this is an other Blade Runner, that film's a great example of the above. How many decades since it came out and folks still point to it and still debate points of it.

As a point of Interest, Ridley always said he wanted to make 2 Movies, this is only part 1, so I expected many unanswered questions, but since seeing the film and spending many hours thinking about about the Film, reading other peoples thoughts on the film, most of my questions have been answered, Does that mean I understand every frame and every reason that someone does something? No, but I suspect that a lot of Answers of the big questions will come with the 2nd film (Here's hoping it is green lit)

What he said. I am a huge fan of the first two Alien flicks. Really looked forward to this one. The wifely unit took me to see it as a Dad's Day treat. Couldn't wait to get out of the theater and go home! Too goofy, hard to follow and left me with more questions than answers. Ridley Scott fumbled this one at the goal line big time! Won't be spending any money renting this one at Blockbusters. [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown]
