Plastic petrol can:  Has hole for dispensing contents - usually thru a spout.  Has another small hole with screw vent.

Am I missing something?

No...we are now missing the vent.

sounds like an awesome mix....I have been using Nuun personally, because I don't like the sugaryness of Gatorade either...one of my running buddies swears by the Eduralytes Fizzies...haven't tried them yet.
