- Shamelessly stolen from another board- wher it was probably already stolen.

You are chosen to compete against 9 other people, a battle to the death. All ten of you are locked in your neighborhood Home Depot or Lowes (Big Box home improvement). The place is closed and lit by flood lights above exits and other misc. lights that make action movies look sweet. The goal is to kill all your rivals and be last man standing.

You are allowed to choose 3 pieces of equipment to aid you. Anything with a bar-code/SKU counts as one piece of equipment. For example, if you choose a nail gun, then a container of nails will be needed, so that would equal two pieces of equipment. You can only use the weapons you choose originally. No area of the home depot is off limits. The outside gardening area is in play, the only sealed doors are the exterior ones. Items like store owned forklifts are off limits for use - see note about bar-code/SKU.

What three items would you choose and what would be your strategy?
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

are you allowed to use the "off limits" equipment for mobility?

ie:can I use the mobile stairways or the forklift or cherry picker to get up onto the tops of some of the fixtures?

Non powered items can be used for mobility only. Powered items like lifts may not be powered on.

One pallette of bricks(for shelter and projectiles), a water balloon launching sling(yes, they have them there) and firemans axe. [evil]

hmmm....part of me was thinking threaded rod thrown like a javelin from up high...but that may not work so well due to limitations....

oooo...once you kill a competitor...whatever 3 items THEY have can now be yours as well though right?...Hmmmm

I would wait them all out near the candy rack at the register.

They would all die of starvation wandering the aisles looking for what they want. (same as when the store is open and there is no knowledgeable staff around to assist you)
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

But you would only be allowed to eat three UPC labeled items. I got enough of a spare tire to wait you and your candies out. lol

Container of any highly flammable liquid that I see first
Torch
a book about gardening

I'd set the place on fire spreading the liquid mainly at the exit to the garden center to block escape by the others

Then I'd sit outside in the garden center and read my book while they die

Drain cleaner (lye), pump
Sprayer and a tyvek suit.

Big jugs of bleach and ammonia. And a respirator

I expect more creativity from you all

I'm thinking that a pressure washer, a case of acetone, and a lighter could make a dandy flame thrower.  If I could use my own lighter, my third item would be a value pack of circular saw blades that I think would make excellent ninja throwing stars.

edit:  On second thought, I'd go to the service counter and exchange the ninja saw blades for a chainsaw chain - better for close combat.

No power outlets to plug the washer in. Might do better with a kerosene powered and spraying washer.
