2 lbs of food is 2 meals for me..  SHTF, I'm dropping 20lbs in a week..  knowledge is key..

2 pounds dehydrated. Add about a gallon per pound to rehydrate. 20 pounds.

I can't believe that no one(including myself) didn't bring up ferro rods(or magnesium/flint bar). Absolute must have. Can even make fire when wet. Hexamine fuel tablets are cool too.

Fire starter already included in kit. Was thinking about getting a magnesium bar though to add as well.

Hmmm..may have to market it as the "DMF Motorcyclist Survival Kit".

Small enough Kit that fits in the trunk of bike.  Waterproof bag with DMF or logo.  [thumbsup]
