FHE living in..
Austin, Lake Travis, Plano.
Tucson, Flagstaff, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Phoenix
Jupiter, FL
and now about 7 months living here in Irvine, CA.

I've got WA and MI covered  too but you don't want to move to either.

Have you checked into the cities north of Dallas yet Cokey, i.e.: Plano, Allen, McKinney and Frisco?   We found some really nice places with land with affordable prices.  If we ever moved back to TX, I would seriously consider buying up there.    Apple is opening up in Austin though and adding about 2K new jobs somewhere around there or Round Rock.

Does staying in one place for 6 days qualify as living there?  [cheeky]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

6 days.  If that's the case, I can count that time I "lived" in Denver with Stella and Randimus.   ;D

Yes, it's pretty flat around Plano and there are tornados.  We had warnings in Austin a couple times.  I'm used to them though being from MI.

Austin/Lake Travis..the hill country is nice for riding but the lake is drying up though.  The city is growing fast.  The traffic sucks but it is a cool place to live.

Have you looked around San Marcos or San Antonio at all?

Been in Frisco 14 years and have NOT seen or had one here.  Technically Austin is also tornado alley.  The surroundings are flat but 20 miles out of town and you can have some good riding roads, plus it's a quick sprint to the "good" roads from Frisco, Plano, Allen and McKinney.  What you find for the money is incredible here and there are tons of companies to work for here.  I like Austin, well north of downtown that is, but industry is not as good as it is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  The job market here is constantly on the move and there are a lot of opportunities plus to hub airlines flying just about anywhere.  If you need some help/advice or contacts let me know via pm with your phone and I'll call you back.  We also have a huge Ducati group here and often get together for rides which includes far'yander places.

I threw Iz and crew a welcome party and he split town shortly thereafter.....don't trust him....just saying. :o

Hey..I said Plano may only be temp stay since it was a short term gig for work.  If we ever move out of CA though, I wouldn't mind settling down there.

D knows a lot of about the area Cokey so he's a good contact to have.  I didn't think I would like it around DFW but I actually did about as much as Austin.
