Ok so the update so far....

I purchased the Rexxer User console and got 3 maps with it (1 was a bonus from the supplier as he didn't have the right map first time). Anyway that's the one in the bike at the moment and let me tell you although not being spot on it is a HUGE improvement in the stock.

O2 sensors are out and the ride-ability is beautiful. No snatching, lurching etc just smooth all the way thro the rev range.

Although I haven't run on a dyno (and prob won't) I can tell from the seat of my pants she is pulling stronger. As was mentioned earlier "I'm not trying to squeeze very last bhp out of the bike" it's not a track/ race bike, it's for street riding. I am very happy with what I have got so far and apparently the next map is even better... I can't wait.

The combo of the SC Project 2-1 full system and Rexxer is a winning deal. I'm loving the bike.

Thanks so much for all the input guys.

So why does it make sense to buy the whole unit?  It's $600.  A flash in my area is $300.  Why do I need the user console after getting a new map loaded?  That's a big difference.

Also, I see that someone mentions that you need to reflash your map back to stock if you take it in for servicing.  That doesn't seem like it's true.  If that were the case, then no one could just pay to have it remapped because you could never take it in for servicing.

You should not be paying for a RexXer re-flash, or be sending your ECU away.  You should purchase the RexXer ‘User’ Console â€" you will then flash the ECU yourself using that, while it still installed in the Bike.  The ‘User ’ Console comes complete with the Cables and Maps you need â€" two maps; the stock one and the modified one that you specified.  In the case of the 1100 it might only be the modified Map since you can probably download the stock one straight from your Bike - first, before you flash the modified one to it. This is not possible with the 1100 EVO.

Read this; http://www.rexxer.eu/e_rexxer.cfm
Download this; http://www.rexxer.eu/downloads/rexxer_compatibility.pdf - it tells you which ECU you have on the 1100, which Console you need and which Bike Cable.

If you are in the US, you should probably buy it from these guys; http://www.rexxer.com/ direct.  $600.00.  You’ll have to fill this in when you do; http://www.rexxer.com/--ecu-form

I stay in Sarfefrica - I bought mine from RexXer in Germany.
