Thieves out here in manila wouldn't know what to do with a Monster. ;D

I had my 749 stolen from out front of my apartment.

I don't think Ducatis are any more or less likely to get stolen than any other bike.  Thieves will steal whatever is easiest and worry about chopping it later.

I just purchased a Xena Disc lock, it has a built in alarm. The second you touch the steering wheel (which in turn would move the front wheel) the alarm goes of. 110dB is sure to get attention, and if you throw it into a mini van, the driver would probably tell you to just drop and leave it. Great little device. only $110.

$50, if you're willing to go for last year's model:

Also, where did you end up mounting a steering wheel on your bike?  That's an unusual mod.

Will it go off if someone bumps the handlebars?
Frickin' snow!

I'm really not too worried about it.

Garage at night.

Parking lot at work during the day.

And anywhere in between.

If it gets stolen, it gets stolen.

that's why I pay 176$ a year to State Farm.

Jeez, my full coverage is $250 every six months. And I'm a female, age 49. I use State Farm.
Is it June yet?

Maybe, they'd use the "pront porks" for tinikling dances?  ;)

Seems high.  Might want to try Geico.  I'm only paying $327 a year for my '03 M1000 and I'm 36.

Well, I got my Xena XN15 for $105 w/free shipping at denniskirk.com. I can say I am pretty satisfied with the purchase [thumbsup]. My one nit pick is the alarm module (located inside the High nickel-content stainless-steel mono-block construction body) is made from China and it does look cheap, but it does do the job well. Even if, say in the future, the module failed i'm still left with a massive steal block on my disc until I get the module replaced.
