Here goes the tale...
At 7 I was in Albuquerque...thought I'll drop my mom back in Santa Fe and head back on the Duc...Little did I know the winds around the San Felipe Pueblo would force my bike to go with 30 degree banking on a perfectly straight road at any speed! Then I am off to another lane!!! Scared every inch of my freakin body...Stopped at the Casino had a coffee and headed back with all miseries and curses spit firing!

   Well, as far as I am concerned, all is forgiven, since I didn't make it either.  Council went till 9PM, then I'd talked to Dusty earlier and she said the party was to start at Kelly's and move to indoor karting.  I didn't have a location on that and sans cellphone being my preferred m.o., I was not able to hook up with the gang. 
   Hey, I read your post that you are abandoning the gangsta's of the NMMR.    I will miss that unexpected flash of red on the Crest and on the road to Taos.  I hope you will stay connected with us via the DMF.  It's a small world.  Maybe we will ride together again someday.  Oh yeah, keep smiling, too!

Glad to see you made it back without any issues.  You really should think about changing your "m.o."  Now you're starting to miss fun appointments because of it.       I'm sure Lance would have loved kicking some kart a$$, too.

I wouldn't really say I'm "missing" important appointments.  If they was important "TO ME", I guess I would've found a way to hook up.  Karting just isn't my thang, Kawboy.  Please forgive.  I just use the no cellphone excuse when it's convenient.  I did show up for boweling though.  Where the hell were you? 

Speaking of Lance, he accompanied me to Colorado so he could check on the progress of the Dragon and give WannaDucBad an update on my bad behavior...or lack thereof.  I've really been slacking lately.  Promise to do better.

I showed up for bowling at around 7:15 and no one was there.      I guess everyone was busy "boweling".  Must have been messy!   

BTW the karting was a blast.  Where else can you go all out and not have to keep an eye out for Smokey.
