Signs of a leaking clutch slave? (Yoyodyne)

How did you get that slave apart? I had mine go out, along with the master, because I put the wrong fluid in it. Yoyo says they'll fix it, but I wanted to pull it apart myself to inspect the seals. I tried to remove that center section from the housing and it wouldn't budge.

I put more fluid in the master cylinder (replace what was lost) and then closed the cylider and squeezed the clutch lever. My seals were still good enough that I had enough pressure to push the piston out. If your seals are totally shot I dunno. For the warranty you just ship it off the Yoyodyne since they like to inspect it themselves too. Product improvement through analysis of failures.  [thumbsup]
