no he's not....bacon is salty and it is balanced well with the sweetness of maple syrup....I discovered it one morning when I had pancakes and bacon (ah, the pleasures of a fast metabolism!).

It's a treat.

I'd like to try some of this fast metabolism ... sounds good. I'll eat it morning, noon and night if it's that good.
