Bacon:

Veggies (cooked in bacon fat, duh)

What I think when I think 'Salad'

Yup, that's pork loin too.  What's a salad without at least two types of pork?

nice presentation!

where'd the onion go?

it's mixed in with the spinach.  That was my plate, so it's a little more pork heavy and onion light than the wife's.  And there was way more onion than necessary, so a bunch is being saved for tomorrow.

99% of girls would puke at the sight of that. Your wife is awesome. but seriously, you ever had french fries fried in 1 lb of bacon. Who knew it makes THAT Much oil?

I make a potato dish that alternates bacon fat sauted potato slices and caramelised onion layers.

top w/parm and parsley, bake a bit. yum-o!

they don't know "bacon" here. They know thin sliced pork that's cooked the same. But, it's not smoked or prepped. I bought 5 pounds from the base store for a friend's mom (she's Brazilian and hates' Japanese "bacon."). I swear, I'm a member of the family now. As long as I keep the bacon flowing. We swap bacon for booze.

I made Bacon Wrapped asparagus for my native Japanese friend last week. She really liked it  [thumbsup]

every Japanese I've cooked for loves bacon. But, it's not sold here in stores. At least not how we know it. Although, I've contemplated curing my own. Well, not really curing. More like trying to marinade/rub it to get the smoky flavor. But, at the price on base and the availability, I'm not thinking of putting enough effort into making my own.

My Country Fried Bacon turned out pretty damn good.

What suspension mods do need to look into when I hit 300 lbs?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

You'll need a holder for your defibrillator....and you're oxygen tank.

Might be the time to pick up a BMW GS-those hard cases would be ideal.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Already done, but after I pack on another 100 lbs, I might have a problem getting my leg over it.

Road King maybe?  If I get to that point, I hereby donate my body to the DMF to be made into bacon.
