Mount farther towards guages (way up)

need Miles (distance) to follow each turn - helped me a ton traveling in unfamiliar territory when I had to get someplace (as opposed to just wandering for the fun of it)

GPS needs a 'moto' route option - getting unlost is pretty key when traveling

I did a larger (18pt bold) print to read thru my tank bag, but my eyes aren't as young as I used to be

Honest to God, though, PIA converted a cage-oriented route in google maps poin to point, to moto friendly.

Might try to offer some 'intro routes' and sell a service to map good routes point to point or region rides.

GPS option for moto - make some money there

I wouldn't come close to being able to read that even if it were backlit and I could hold it close to my eyes. Moving on a bike? No chance at all.

My overall sense is that this sort of thing is useful primarily to people who already have a pretty good idea of where they are and how to get where they're going. It depends hugely on each person's brain; some people have little difficulty translating text into geography, but for others it's simply not possible because their brains aren't wired to think that way. There's a fantastically good reason that maps are graphical and not lists of coordinates or distances and directions.

Finally, you should probably take your prototype to a number of moto dealers and see if it reallly does fit on a wide range of tanks. At the Ducati shop, for example, you may find that on the new Multistrada there isn't a flat spot that big.
