Seriously the only movies that should ever be remade are low-budget movies remade by the same director with more money (Il Mariachi, Evil Dead)

Art should stand on it's own...

3:10 to Yuma should never have been made, period. That movie is horrible. Appaloosa puts it to shame on all counts.

Others that should never be remade:

War of the Worlds

The Poseidon Adventure

The Day The Earth Stood Still

Gone In 60 Seconds

and

The Original Star Wars Trilogy

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

the Gone in 60 Seconds remake wasn't bad as far as remakes are concerned...but that sems to be a different subject altogether...

3:10 to Yuma was a remake.  The first was made in 1955 with Glen Ford in the Crowe roll.  Both films were awesome in their own way.  Ford played it as a smooth suave psychopath, could have been the devil himself.

I'm aware. And in my opinion, none of them were as good as the originals. Thus my post.

Yes, I know they were not really great movies but to make them without the original 4 just wouldn't work.
