I was at a lake today and a young girl had her baby in a stroller on the dock. It was a small dock and a windy day. As my friend and I proceeded to drag the canoe out of the water, the wind proceeded to blow the stroller right off the edge and into the water. I seriously didn't even have time for my brain to process a thought before I was in the water with the stroller over my head like Hercules. I was soaked and cold but it felt good to hear the young ladies "thank you". She was a complete mess and I told her that I understood because of my newborn son and that she should be thankful that nothing worse happened other than a few wet diapers and a stroller that now smells like lake water.

Crazy. I can't even imagine how she felt

Nice!

Nephew was on the edge of the dock last summer. I saw him falling in before it happened...I'm paranoid freak when it comes to kids and water...just as I went to pull him away, he took a nose dive in. Caught his foot as he was going down and whipped him back up. Of course, scared me more than him.

Soo..... I proposed back on the 6th of the April.

Well, apparently we had too much fun that weekend.

I am now in the expectant father club.

Who would have thought sex on the beach would work way too good...

Well, the 3rd time wasn't a charm today for the 4D ultrasound. Baby IZ is still in a breach position at 30 weeks. One more try at 32 weeks.

Birthing class with wife on Sunday. 10am-6pm?! Seriously??

My god..this is really starting to come up fast and becoming all too real.

the classes are often broken up into parts. we only had one free day to take it. didnt realize it was ALL day

After many tries at IVF over the last 4 years, we decided to go the surrogacy route ( no I don't want to debate the ethics of surrogacy).
After 1 attempt where we lost twins quite early, we are now past 13 weeks with a single littl'un.
Ultrasound came back looking good, so starting to feel pretty good that this one's gonna stick. Yay!
