The rat bike has been sitting for at least 11 months with a shit battery and no winterization

swapped out the good battery from Jess' S2R

thumbed the starter 3 or 4 times

and Vroom cough sputter surge cough surge surge sputter cough...warmed up and smooth 800rpm idle

went for a 15 min ride and besides an unresponsive throttle for about 10 seconds and a couple 5k-6k throttle stumbles

all is running very well

I'll assume for now the stumbles are bad gas cycling through, the tank was full but the fuel is a year old

very happy the old girl is still kicking

congrats on getting the rat back on the road. 

Something I ate did not agree with me. You should wait a bit before going in there......

Molly's idle "hunts" now that I've got the fueling mostly sorted.
