If Ducati didn't change their logo every 5-10 years, we wouldn't have anything to buy that was retro.

It is ok.  I think they are trying to combine the Ducati Corse logo with an "open roads" look.

But it seems unfinished.  or not well thought out to me...  I can't explain it.  It looks pastiche.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I see a Corse reference, but beyond that,  [puke]

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example!

It's the light reflection highlights...make it look plastic.

Ah... I see it better when compared to those^^^^. I looks like a cheap puffy sticker. The kind you get out of gumball machines. It needs more edge, less softness.
Damn me and Statler were typing the same thing at the same time.  [cheeky]

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

I bet if you press it it will squeek.

I also thought it looked like a guitar pick at first glance.  Nothing wrong with that I guess though.

However I don't like logos of any kind that puts the company's name in it.  Few do In the automotive world it seems... one of em is Ford!

Don't look at this.

Yep, that and the puffy comment above nail it for me too.

The free Indy hats had a plastic similar 'puffy squeaky shiny' triangle logo on the front, and I hate it.

I prefer the new one. The old one always made me think of a flathead screw with the line off center, then I imagine having to unscrew it. It irked me. Thanks to Cucciolo, I immediately see a Dunlop pick and want to play some guitar.

I like the new logo  [evil]

The car logos looks like it's chiseled into rock or bronze.  The Ducati logo looks like those squishy plastic puff stickers the girls in seventh grade collected.

Poop! Guess I should've read the whole thread before giving my "fresh" opinion.
