Seriously though, I know of a few "home" games that got hijacked b/c word spread that a few thousands dollars were in play.

Ok, I understand not to bring cash to the game. But, if it is for charity, i'm assuming money will change hands at least with the host, no? When would you like payment?

So far, I'm in by the way. That is unless I get back into town late on the 6th. I'm guessing you're thinking around 7pm-ish? Do we have a location?

I should have a laptop out there where you can donate online to my fundraising site.  If you prefer check you can make it out to: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

If it's ok w/ Donald I think his studio will probably be the best location.  I'll work on the time part of the equation.  I'll need to coordinate with Donald on when I can start getting it set up.

Ok, the check idea sounds good. What will be the buy-in minimum/starting chip count? Do you have a blind schedule? Do you need any chips? I have a bunch of non counterfeitable custom chips. I have an oval poker table that will seat 8 comfy. Not pretty but it will do the job.

Will there be cigar smoking at the table?

The place is big enough to have a non-smoking area closed off from the smoking area, so if Bryant wants to accomodate non-smokers - we can make that happen.  Is that what you are asking ?  :)

Steve, the buy-in/starting chip count hasn't been set yet.  A few people I've talked about this have said that $50 would be suitable them (Maybe a $25rebuy if you so desire)  There will be a blind timer on to speed the game up.

It's looking like we'll have about 16 players (10-11 on the DMF and Malynn is looking for a few more).  So I might need more chips, I was going to look for those this weekend.  But if we can use yours that would be great!

I have a line on 2 full sized poker tables, I'm just waiting to hear back from the owners. 

Oh yeah, I have a few prizes for 1st/2nd place.

I don't care about the non smokers. This is Poker and not nail polishing isn't it? Nah, just wondering. Either way is cool with me.
