I'd agree.  I've noticed that guys will do what works against Classmate A when they fight someone outside the school, and kinda act suprised when I doesn't go as planned.

We usually invite other schools, and sometimes they even show up after they say they're coming.  I dunno if no one wants to fight us or we're just a pain in the ass to drive to.  I think it's 'cuz we never wash our handwraps.

That is disgusting. I do the same thing. LOL.

i dont wash my wraps at all, but i try my best ot wash my gloves.

i do not wash my wraps. well i lied, ive had my red wraps for about 4 years now, and ive only washed them....8? times. yea ill go with that.

Well, that went horribly.

No one in my weight class showed up to the smoker, so I wound up paired with one of the instructors.  He put me on the canvas with a head kick.

Damn that sucks. But I bet you'll never drop your hands like that again. Lotsa Ice in the back of the neck and a few tylenol and the headache will go away tomorrow

I have a practiced with a few international level Judoka.  One is a SEAL and the other represented Philippines in the Asian games.  I am very small and compact and weighing in at 220 lbs, both are 180-190 lbs and they ragdolled me silly.  I've been 5-point slammed during my freestyle days, but nothing compared to what they put me through!

I think I'm back to normal... whatever "normal" is.  Made it through an hour of pad class and 30mins of touch sparring yesterday w/ no issues.  Just a longer list of stuff to work on fixing.

Looks like that's my last fight until winter... the wife convinced me (read: "broke out the thong") to coach the kiddie's soccer team, taking away two training days per week.  No way I'm staying in smoker shape between that and the night meetings I have to host for my job.

Once the decision was made, I celebrated with a weekend of microbrew festivals and Taco Bell.  My intestines hate me right now.
