Installed!  [thumbsup]

The unit itself was all plug and play. Location of the unit/box is not finalised, but will suffice for testing purposes.

It was too late to crank up the bike as it was after 10pm, but the unit worked as the manual said it should.

I'll take it for a run when I can and go from there.  [Dolph]

PC3 arrived today.  [thumbsup] Thanks again Twizted!

I've loaded one map, and will have a go at installing the unit on the bike later tonight.

I've got to position the unit carefully, as the K&N crankcase breather kit vents to where the PC3 is usually located. I'll see how I go.

I'll keep you posted.

dunno how your battery is located

on the s4 its on its side underneath the tank and my PC is stuck onto the battery , it clears the tank
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

I'm not sure I got all the parts I ordered. My originals weigh 9.07 kg, and what's in the box only weighs 3.44 kg.  There's like 5.6 kg of stuff missing.

Yeh. That's where mine is located too.

Ahah! I worked out what the problem is. They're half made of fecking plastic!

And to make matters worse, there's a bloody big hole down the guts of 'em.

Finally fitted the parts this arvo. Fit ok after I had to do a bit of Dremel work >:( >:(

I was going to do the vents as well to finish of the look but they don't come with lugs and I didn't want to do a dodgy glue 'em in and they fall out later....

Looks pretty good, well I think anyway.

Thanks Bazz,

They do look pretty good, I also have the tank vents and rear "spoiler", but the vents don't have lugs and I don't want to glue them in, and well I can't work out how to fit the "spoiler".  [laugh] [laugh]

It's a real shame about the vents, I think they would just complete the look.

The fit of the top pieces of the tank is pretty good, although the top piece that goes from the filler to the key is a little long. I guess they can't really have it too snug otherwise it would never fit because on the lack of any flex in the CF to fit.
