TV series is pretty good, but the books are better. Lots more room for details and character development

Agreed. As much as I'm enjoying Peter Dinkledges portrayal, they have to leave out a lot of Tyrion best stuff

They found the best actor, but the books just show off the brilliant, broken character to the fullest. It was sometimes painful to read some of the other characters' stories (Sansa), but I was always happy when I saw that Tyrion's chapter was next.

book 3 was the best by far.
the last book wasnt that great...dont know if i'll read the next one when (if) it comes out
ok, i probably will but I'll have forgotten 200 of the 600 characters

the last one is the only one I have not read twice. I agree that book 3 was by far the best. Book 5 was the worst so far. I presume they will have enough to get decent seasons, but it has been rolling down hill since George started thinking he was too important to produce anything within a decent amount of time.
