For a second when I clicked on the link, I thought he was wearing a Cherry Blossom Squadron bandanna.  That would have been very inappropriate (maybe for Marquez somewhat appropriate).

Highly doubt HRC gave him that shirt... and I'm sure there will eventually be some form of apology.  I mean, he's riding for Japanese brand in front of their top brass... and releases a pic of him wearing a tshirt which can be basicallly seen as asian blackface.

MM's pr team really needs to look at the way rossi has controlled his image over the years and take a lesson... while he's pushed the line several times I cant think of anything he's released that's toed a racial taboo or outright offended people.

I think that's what I'm really missing from MM vs Rossi... you just rooted for Rossi because he was cool, not just because he was fast too.

This qualy session really sunk in the fact that I much prefer the new system. I know that it was basically a very long FP, but I miss the excitement of them having more of a clear track to get good runs. Plus it's more exciting to watch them trade laps.

Would have been tough to run the new system with 0 practice time.

It's the best solution to  the problem I guess.

Gotta love the sheer amount of make the beast with two backss that MM does not give.

Looking forward to seeing a Spaniard win the championship with style. The Spanish ride motorcycles with the same speed that they run their economy into the ground.

+1 The new qual system makes qualifying a real event in its own right and worth watching. I know plenty of people who take the time to watch it. It's fascinating and the excitment builds with the pressure. It kind of changed from who was the fastest tester to a time trial race.

Maybe Nicky can get on the podium in the wet.

Anyone hear how Yamaha's protest went?
