Want!

Also the back end of this bike... no license plate or lights... um... very clean/illegal... or?

IMO, seat is a completely custom unit, and the rear of the frame has been heavily modified.

There may be a taillight out of view under the end of the seat, and the plate looks like it's peeking out behind the shock.

Strictly speaking, not legal where I live.

Sometimes not an issue, especially if you don't ride like a knucklehead, but YMMV.

Probably be pretty do-able for a talented seat/upholstery guy (or girl) to make from your stock seat.

Nothing mounted in the photoshoot. Tail light should have been considered from the beginning in my opinion. Look's tacked on for all that tail welding work.

M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

Yeah I'd agree...kinda looks like an after thought. Not sure wth they were thinking with the upside down Mickey Mouse ears either. Cool bike for the most part though.

Well in the end I decided to DIY the seat. Turned out OK.

Started by removing the cover, then used an angle grinder to remove some of the plastic under the seat so the frame shows better and the seat lines up with the bottom of the tank edge - removed part shown as red triangle in the below pic.

Bought some 1/2" foam for the padding, and two types of vinyl from the fabric shop for about $30. Got to work doing the channel quilting (pins as sewing guides) and stapled on the result tonight. The red top stitching didn't pan out perfectly as my sewing machine sucks a bit, but on the whole I go the look I was after for a fraction of the cost. Pics showing it on the bike coming soon.
