Apple TV 4

Anyone got it yet? I have version 2 (I think) and was looking to upgrade. Read some reviews which all sounded pretty positive. I like the new remote and the fact that there is a (free) Plex app since I download a lot of shows (no cable for a year and a half now).

Anyone here have experience with it yet?

I heard that it's not worth upgrading yet if you already have the older one, but if you don't have one at all, you should get the new one.

I've got one and am generally pretty pleased.  For the price I probably wouldn't recommend upgrading an existing Apple TV, but if you were starting out then get the new one (this has already been said).  The new OS is very slick and the new remote is great.  The only issue being that I now have two remotes out, rather than my old Universal Remote set-up from before.  The Siri feature actually works, time will tell if I actually use it.  What will really distinguish the 4 from the previous versions will be the Apps.  Currently it doesn't really do anything you couldn't do before, but once Apps get released then who knows?

I was under the impression that apps have already started to be released?

Interesting note about the battery in my current Apple TV remote. I've had it for about a year and a half and have never replaced it...

What's with the new remote that your Universal won't do?

You can easily use a Universal remote. Indeed, the old settings on my Harmony One just work on the new Apple TV. The new Siri remote has two features the Harmony can't do. The first is the whole Siri thing, which works well but feels a bit gimmicky to me, so I could live without. The second is the touchpad on the Apple remote. It makes navigating the UI so much nicer and is pretty hard to give up.
