Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Maltese Falcon is one of the mosted hated and loved recent megayachts built.   Crazy engineering exercise with the rig and sailplan (they unfurl from the cross spars...fully computerized square rigged ship.  Completely new concept.   And she's not slow.

Google her for great pics and all sorts of interesting arguments.

She is now for sale.

Many many many millions.

Not my kind of sailing, but interesting and I'd love to go for a ride one day (or week).
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

afterNing.

Should have known our "new" car was a POS.

B lost the exhaust on it .5 mi after we drove away.  Thankfully, made it from Roc to Buffalo.

Currently, B is sitting in it, waiting for AAA cause he can't get into gear.  Clutch linkage is not working.

We should have walked away on Sunday and never looked back.   [bang] [bang]

I have feeling it is going to be a couple grand to get it up to snuff.

It has some other issues, that we knew before we bought it.  No speedo and e-brake.

Were kind hoping we could make it through the winter before sinking $$$ into it.

I guess sooner is better than later.

Hopefully, the madza dealer will be able to get parts for it.  It is only one of 1,500 imported to the US.

Ooh, yea hopefully parts won't be difficult to obtain, good luck with a speedy resolution.  Maybe getting parts won't be like taking the slow boat from Italy...

I had a car with no speedo, '90 Accord.  I had marks on my tach for common speed limits in certain gears  [laugh]  It shattered the #2 piston then sucked the pieces up starving #4 for oil and snapped the #4 conrod taking a bunch of internal pieces with it...
