Shouldn't have been, though.

I have my W9 set up perfectly so I am paying the proper amount in.

but maybe there are new tax breaks this year? That is all I can think of.

I've never overpaid. I don't like to.


Now that I think about the refund for windows, the large school credit, and the capital gains carry over.....the difference isn't all that much.

It's odd though........we owe the state quite a bit, but still come out way ahead at the end of the day.
