i gave the iPhone  7 months...and it just works.

but that's all it does. i am just not getting the same functionality out of it that i was used to with my old phone.

so i'm going back to Android. i am not looking for a debate about Android vs. iOS, just input from anyone who has used the phones I am looking into

i am looking at Samsung Galaxy Nexux, and the Motorola RazorMaxx, _maybe_ the HTC Rezound?

if anyone has any experience with these phones, or other Android models i would appreciate the input.

wait a little while for the galaxy S III

Samsung is already selling more phones than Apple... and Samsung makes all the chips in the iPhone... they are going to smoke Apple for lunch.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

the G-Nexx is a programmers delight from everything I have read...but like most phones...battery suffers...the RazorMaxx has incredible battery life, but may limit some of your customizability in setting things up for yourself if you want something other than what most use...

I too have been looking into Android Smart Phones and am looking forward to seeing more information on the Sony Experia Go...but there is lots to see and read out there...I have been parusing www.phonescoop.com personally...

samsung makes (made?) about 25% of the components for the iPhone 4, but the 4s uses less samsung-sourced parts.

they do, as i'm sure you were alluding to, still provide the Ax SoC processors, though i think it's important to make the distinction that those are designed in-house by apple and manufactured by samsung.

i have an HTC EVO... Not specifically mentioned, but it seems like most of the HTC phones are identical, aside from size differences. I like it.
I'm not a "power user" though... I get what I want from it. Email, navigation, phone... and Angry Bird in Space.

I need a new phone too. I have a first gen tmobil htc andriod with a keyboard. I really like that feature. New phone needs better battery life too.

I too am waiting for the Gs3 to come out and see the battery life.  The reviews look great but I need battery life so it's Gs3 or RAZR MAXX.

i have the iphone 4, on verizon. the only reason i went with an iphone was that it was cheaper than the comparable android phone when i upgraded. zero carrier issues. all of my hate and discontent centers around how locked down the thing is.
