Mike

Can you fit me in for a service and tine on Tuesday or Wednesday?

The 01 M900S i.e. is currently running on 1.5 pots and just hasn't been right since I've had her for the past 18 months.

Got her with Termis.  Northside said they couldn't tune her properly with the stock ECU (she's alway hung higher revs when you pull up to a stop, have to drag the clutch once or twice to get the revs to settle) and have since added the DP ECU and open filter box but she has never run right and I suspect has fouled the plugs again which lead me to crawling home with a BAD misfire on friday.

HEEEEELP!

Cheers

Andy

Hi Kaz nah no problem like that so far on mine .
I have read on the main board quite a few had warranty repairs for that problem.
Mine is an unidentified engine noise, really baffling [bang] the head Mech. at Northside took her for a blat and could hear it but not identify what it is.
There solution so far was" its under warranty just wait until it breaks"   WTF
They wont strip the engine down to look for said noise.
I said what happens if it is a major malfunction eg.engine seizure mid corner =me high siding= broken bike and body  "NOT HAPPY JAN"
I am starting to think it is a bearing noise it must be loud as I can hear it with a full face helmet and Termi's with no baffles .
Hope your bike is still under warranty and you get some satisfaction if it is push hard for repair quote the Nth American recalls.

Hows the noise Dez ?

Did you get it documented for engine noise issue and hold a letter head paper from them stating noise and they cant find it ??

if not get on it so if it pops out of warranty you can talk to dept of fair trading with evidence in hand
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.
